In Connecticut, the law relating to farm labor can be found in Conn. Gen. Stat. § 19a-36.  Pursuant to the section, the Commissioner of Public Health shall establish a Public Health Code which may provide for the preservation and improvement of the public health.  Drainage and toilet systems shall be installed in any house or building arranged or designed for human habitation.  The field sanitation provided to agricultural workers or migratory farm laborers shall conform to the minimum requirements prescribed in said code[i].
